I wouldnt call myself a Shimano Guy, but Id say my Stradic FLs give me the best "feeling" when i think about all my reels. I have a 2500 for steelhead and a 4000 for stripers and salmon. Both are very well used and abused and have caught a ton of nice fish with no issues other than a line roller bearing.
