Hey I didn't want to quote the whole thread, but when donating directly to HOW.org, please make sure to earmark your donations for your local chapter so they get credit in their accounts, otherwise I think it goes into the HOW general fund.

Things are coming together.
I just bought these 2 rod combos for $24.95 at Sportsman's Warehouse. I'm gonna try and get 4 more next payday. I've got some leftover PowerPro and a brand new spool of 14lb FireLine.

Also, I picked up 4 more Danielson Casting Crab traps and made these floats.

Headed to Hobuck this weekend and stopped at Adventures Through Kayaking to look for thigh straps so we can try playing in the surf and got to talking with Tammi out there. So, by the time we left we had 5 used dry tops donated and 2 new stickers for the trailer.

On this past trip to Hobuck, NWnoob and Jpcrowley ran into Steve the owner of the CrabHawk crab traps. He graciously corrected the fact that I have been using the Danielson traps and NOT the original CrabHawks. Thanks for correcting me and I have changed my description on my post. I apologize, I heard somewhere that they were buying CrabHawks and packaging it under the Danielson name. Anyway, I'm hoping that CrabHawk will still make a donation to HOW NWest.

Waders, Boots and Rain Jackets

We are looking for your old waders and/or boots. Even if they leak a bit, we can use them. It's getting colder and it would help to have a variety of sizes.

If you have old boots that could be used with waders will be greatly appreciated.

We are also looking for some rain jackets, so dig in your closets and garages and pull that old stuff.

A huge thanks to Fungunnin for donating 3 spinning reels, 3 waders, boots, a1000yd spool of 20lb mono, 150yd spool of 20lb braid and other miscellaneous tackle.

These are going to be used at the upcoming Chum Run Event on 10/20/12.
