Unless it changes in the next two days I’m going to try to get out for my first ocean trip of this year, launch early to avoid the afternoon fan.

I will also be there, as well as aiming to go out Monday too. 6 to 7 a.m. or so for launch time for me. Will try and post a report Monday night.

Coho are in at PC!  Off to a great start this year.

Bottom fishing remains a bit slow (at least for PC) 😉

What depth of water did you get that beauty at? Might have to take a second rod with a mooching rig on it

Right on man, good work! I may sneak out of DB tomorrow morning if it's looking decent. Mind sharing how deep?

I've got eyes on a few other forums, and talking to some of the Dory guys. Looks like they are pretty much all over for the most part, and as shallow as 70 feet of water.  Definitely bringing some salmon gear!

Clayman, fish are fairly scattered but 130 to 160 fow has been working.  Pretty much due west of rock.  Today was fun with a bunch of yakkers out there.

Nice, thanks!

Depoe Bay was pretty dead today. Even the charters were scratching. I may have to head to PC on Tuesday...

Dang, wish I could go Tuesday, but have some work stuf I can't miss. Saturday is looking promising though.

I'm curious about the strategy for early coho. Are you trolling, mooching or ???

Tuesday is looking like a good Ray day!  I lost a wrist gasket on my Kokatat yesterday at the HOW-NOC event so I need to pull out my Mythic for a back-up and look it over.  If its good then I will be there Tuesday.  :icon_thumright:
