You do great work SBD!

Nice restoration.

Nice restoration job! Good score finding that little gem.  I have an older glass 10' Don Hill I picked up used for $500 a few years ago, and I love it for milder floats and lakes. It came with Gull oars from New Zealand. I made my anchor by wrapping an adz head with some heavy steel chain... weighs about 15 lbs.

The 10' Don Hills are kind of like a bare bones 13.5' Makenzie River style drift boat with about 4 feet of the bow cut off. Length is 9'6" long, and the anchor bracket makes it 10'.

Every once in a while one comes up for sale for about that price. Saw a (newer than the one I got) used Don Hill 10'er for only $450 two years ago.

River prams are great fly fishing boats. I think I would like to build a smaller and lighter  pram someday, using the stitch and glue method.

Lets see some pics Conehead.  I haven't gotten a lot done with the Holidays approaching, but I have everything ready to make a new anchor.  Hopefully this evening.

Do we get some step-by-step photos of the making? Some of us are interested in making our own too...  ;D

I got a little more done.  She' basically ready for me to row.  I will still need add some Scotty's etc., but I want to get it on the water a while to get a better idea of where they ought to go.  Time to start making my trailer pram-compatible.

The latest start here... http://picasaweb.google.com/GreatWhiteKayakComapny/PimpMyPram#5284652591152765010

OK, I'll try to post a pic. Never tried here before. If it works, you will see my 10' Don Hill up above the head of tidewater on a zipperlip coastal creek, where I was fly fishing for searun cutts and tossing hardware for coho.

By the way, nice work restoring your baby, SBD.

That is a nice pram conehead...my pram is essentially the same exact dimensions but clunky old aluminum.  Fixing it up was fun.  I have been waiting for it to rain so I can take my pram out, but the river is LOW LOW LOW...no rain in sight.

We finally got some rain so it was time to push this project across the finish line.  With the exception of the front bench, she is done.  She IS ready for solo fishing...
