It is certainly my primary fishing platform. I have my downrigger, Rod mount and sounder/plotter mounted on a wooden platform on the starboard side. Works great.

I recently had my first sail/troll in my Outback. i know how to sail, but sail and fish, not so much. Fortunately the wind was about 5mph, so a good way to start. Trolling for Kokanee on CdA, so sailing at .8-1.5mph. I would like to try for Kams on PO, I don't think I could pedal 2.5mph for a prolonged period, but under sail might work, although the wind can get nasty there!

I recently got a TI and love it. How do you secure the platform to the akas. Also any photos of it rigged?
