Title: New from Hobie in 2014?
Post by: ballardbrad on February 13, 2013, 07:24:11 PM
Ok, I love my Hobie Pro Angler.  They have really thought of everything with regards to comfortable fishing on the water.  One thing nobody talks about is taking a leak.  I learned the hard way two years ago and decided to stand and pee.  Well, it wasn't too long that I was ass over tea kettle into the drink.  Cell phone and camera met their fate when they hit the saltwater.

Since then, yes... I've learned to pee sitting down ( kayak only).  I can unzip and get a good stream going that goes right into the Mirage Drive hole and into the water.  The last few spurts is problematic where I end up wearing it or its all over my cutting board.  Yea, a quick cup of water fixes this but today it dawned on me... My Hawg Trough.  Yes, I've used it to measure some great fish but the expanding Plano model easily extends out giving you the #1 Drip Free experience.  The angle is great and the hole at the bottom empties into the Mirage Drive.

Hobie, call me.  :)

Now that there is genius & frickin hilarious. Except I don't need the use of the hawg trough to reach the mirage drive :o couple of taps on the mirage drive cleans up nice.  >:D.

I like to eat a couple of jars of pickled herring and chase it down with a jug of water.  That herring scent in the water has been turning on the cutty bite on the lake.

Now you're making me snort my coffee through my nose!! I'm sure there'll be a summer measurement vs a winter measurement because of shrinkage.

I will admit, this thread caused a coffee nasal reverse flow for me also....maybe they could upgrade the Vantage seat to some sort of Vantage/porta-potty seat?
