Picked up a new Native Watercraft Slayer Propel 10 MAX, a pedal-drive kayak before last winter (in Nov 2021) replacing my old Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100. Had to wait for the whole damn cold winter to come to end. This past weekend finally had a chance to lay her down for a real test run. Was fishing deep (100 to 120 feet deep) for lake trout and whitefish. Though there were no fish marked nor hooked, had a great time with (and happy with) the new yak:-)

If you find your knees needing to come too high on the back stroke of the peddle, you can swap out the crank arms with unicycle crank arms that are shorter. Hard to tell from the pictures but TLW and I are both on the shorter side and I put a set on her slayer propel, likely will down the road with the Mariner as well.
