I wanted to share some Springer Bloopers with you guys. These are pretty funny events. Both video's are full of profanity, so adjust your volume accordingly.
Click HD if you can.

OK....So the window on the bottom video is broken, but if you click the words "Spring Salmon from a kayak the wrong way" below the box, it should open up.

Enjoy!

Jammer,
That's some funny stuff bro...
I have been there done that ..it's only funny later on....
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

I exclaimed one of those profane words right along with you when I watched the rod break on Video #2 -- great blooper reel, and then you go ahead and get the fish! Happily ever after.

I've had 2 friends both lose $500+ rod/reel combos in the last 2 weeks.  Both on hooksets, the rods slipped out of their hands and into the water....... ouch!!!!

It happens to everybody I guess.

Sorry.....actually the 2nd video is NOT me, but a buddy named Jeffro and he's sometimes on here. The only real bad part of the video is we need to remember that natives need to be released ASAP and left in the water as much as possible.
Other then that, Hysterical!

I thought you might have been able to pull off that fish yesterday, but it would have taken a lot of work (and less inaudible commentary from me).  The fish have been crazy acrobatic lately, otherwise you probably could have made that work out better...

Was that a Okuma rod that snapped in the second video? Ive never caught a salmon from a yak yet. Better to have bad luck than none at all. Thanks for the post.
