There appears to be a lot more plastic than just the kayak and sunglasses in that picture.  Not complaining though.

So you know what would really help?  If you see a picture that is a good candidate for POTP, post up HERE saying so.  It's not always something we are looking for, but a little reminder would go a long way.

On another forum I frequent, (other hobby) they have a banner near the top that has a scrolling left to right line of small pictures. These pictures link back to a post of someones greatness so that the any story that goes with the picture is readable.  From what I gather, someone nominates the person for banner status due to the greatness of item, and others follow with votes if they feel it is worthy as well.  Not sure how many votes it takes, but if high enough are gathered, then their picture will be added to the banner with everyone elses that achieved greatness at some point.  Scrolling left to right, allows them to add tons of pics without clogging up the screen.
