Title: Weather looks good at Kbay this weekend!

After a sustained period of westerly things seem to be clearing up a bit this weekend. Thinking about heading out one or both days. Anyone else?

Daughter has an event Saturday but I am eyeing up Sunday for an attempt! 

Halibut season is open now!!!  Commercial folks don't get to fish until March 11 I think!

What? Pass up Super Bowl Sunday for a fish? Well this might be my last Super Bowl if they start running political statement advertisements during the game. I already warned Budweiser AND NFL.com.   >:(

Thinking about Saturday. 34°F and 15 knots North with 2 foot seas. Roads will be clear and dry and lots of sunshine.  Visibility should be getting good with the drop in water temps and smooth seas.

Glad to see new posts.
The only fishing I've had is vicariously on the post since August. Hope to see pics of football fat Kings or Linebacker size Halibut for Super bowl weekend. Enjoy the fishing audible for whom ever goes out.

Saturday is a thought. 15 knots won't work for me, though. Doesn't take much wind at 34 degrees to make it colder than I'm interested in.

No fish besides little cod. Forgot most of my gear. First time back out sense November so I had nothing together. Was a beautiful day though!
