Hope this is in the right place... Just a heads up... Noticed yesterday that Joe's sports has the Eagle Cuda 250 on sale for $169 instead of $200.  This is about as cheap as I have seen them.

Combine that with a $25 off $100 purchase and you've got yourself a genuine great deal.

Definitely a great buy!

I just got to test drive mine on Sunday and I was impressed by the clarity, ease of operation and power consumption.  Hmmmm, maybe I need to get a second for my Cobra....  Hmmmmm

Really like the 250, i did have an issue on sunday. My cuda started tweeking out after coming back through the squall and taking a bunch of  water over the bow getting everything wet.

The WPT button must have got some water in it cause the thing started marking waypoints and beeping all by itself, then it pretty much locked up. i took it apart and dryed it out, even though it didn't look wet in there. I put it back together and it did the same thing, like the waypouint button was stuck on. It did that until just about an hour ago, then it started working normally. Good thing, cause it's a few months over the warranty.

I called eagle, sat on hold for 30 minutes. The finder must have fixed itself while i was on hold, the person asked me what it was doing, i told her, "here I'll turn it on and...hmmm, it's not doing it anymore...., i think it fixed itself!!

I swear, i turned it on a couple times while i was on hold and it was tweeking, then i went to turn it on to explain what was happening and it was working normally..

After the one year warranty expires they charge a flat fee of 99 bucks and they just send you a new one. That's there repair plan...
See ya on the water..

That's still a pretty good repair/replace fix option vs. going out and just buying yourself a new one off the shelf for normal price.
