Two kayaks launched at 8:00.  We were back at the ramp at 10:15 with limits of Black Rockfish & Lingcod.  I released two Cabezon, two Black Rockfish and four Lings (two legal & two short).

The sun peeked out a couple of times, but it was mostly drizzly.

The new kill bag works great on the bow of my 2017 Hobie Outback.

I should have gone with you instead of spending the day not catching steelhead!
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
but why risk it?

Nice work indeed!  I am dying for my first chance on the ocean this year! Thanks for sharing and letting me live vicariously through your photos :)

full marks for getting it done.  based on your image, my day out there would have been more like-
"one fish, two fish, burp, black fish, blue ling, barf. Depot bay control, one kayak to enter the harbor, barf".  ;D

I think it looks worse than it was.  I get seasick when its rough and didn't feel anything yesterday.

When its really rough, I use Kwells...bought from here:  https://www.pharmacyonline.com.au/kwells-tab-x-12

it's the 'washing machine' conditions that get me, getting bumped and rolled from all directions all the time.  lol

great job loading the yaks and freezers.

Yes.  One of the better fish cleaning stations on the coast.  And when you finish early, you have it all to yourself.  The crapper isn't all that bad either.
We didn't see any whales Thursday, which is unusual.
