Simson Reef, Nov. 2019

(1/1)

PNW:
Made the trip to Simpson reef yesterday. It was fairly choppy on the way down there, but when we got there, it smoothed out & the lings were biting. Dennis kept a 30" ling & I kept a 28 incher & released another I'm wishing I would have kept. The bite was hot & I wanted to try for a +30" ling, but the north wind came up & it got choppy to the point we had to head back to Sunset. It was a challenging day for advanced kayakers. We also caught & released a total of 7 good sized cabezon between us. Also got 5 keeper Dungeness in the bay. Here's a few pictures.
