Where do kayakers launch now in Homer to fish the tip of the spit? I was down to the Spit recently and found the Lands End launch area is now replaced with more condos.

We've been parking at the circle next to lands in and dragging our stuff down the beach. The other alternative I've found is the beach next to the Fishing Hole, it's sheltered a little bit and will allow for someone inexperienced to launch without struggling with the boat waves that you get at lands end. Take the road next to the fishing hole to the beach and park next to the pavilion.

When are you heading out?
