This past summer I had an Old Town Topwater 120 PDL shipped to my house. Unfortunately the morons with the delivery company drive a forklift tine right through the hull. I was able to get a new one shipped no charge but the shipping company didn't want to take care of the damaged kayak. I decided to try and restore the kayak after it lounged on the side of the house for several months. I think it turned out pretty good.

That was a nice, "easy" fix Tyler.  I'm surprised you didn't drill holes on the ends of the tears to ensure they don't run with thermal expansion and contraction.  You'll have to keep us updated with how it holds up over time.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

Thanks for the Gator Patch demo. I didn't know that stuff existed. Nice creative color blending, too.

Sucks that careless forklift operators still exist.  Most warehouse and shops I've been in have had strict training and licensing programs.

Looking at the hatch bungies, is that the Old Towne replacement for web straps to hold hatches and cargo?

Why so many odd typos ? You try typing on 6 mm virtual keys with 26 mm thumbs....

Sorry if I missed it in the video, but what's the plan for the kayak now that it's fixed?

Harbor Freight heat gun/plastic welder and a home Depot bucket always served me well for repairing cracks the hull.
