Forum needs a like button.

Next year I plan on being there.  Been too long.

I’ll look in to it.  There should be a mod for that.

Hope to see you next year at the ORC.

I took my second trip to PC today and came back with a limit of big crabs - although it came a quite a cost.
I rolled coming in (thanks to all the guys that helped with the lawn sale) but only lost my glasses - I thought.
I lost my radio too.
The night before the ORC and there's not a single hand-held VHF radio within reach tonight to purchase.
Soooo - what are the chances someone with an extra radio to loan sees this in the next few hours??

Anyone?
Anyone?
Bueller?

I appreciate it Dave. Looks like I’m gonna miss tomorrow anyway.
A combo of sore back from today’s tumble, a concerned wife, and yet another sleepy drive to/fro has me opting out.
Good luck to everyone and thanks to all the folks who put on the ORC.
And post pictures, please.
Now for another Dungeness crab melt…

ORC 2021 results are attached below!
Thanks to all of the participants for showing up and making this event happen, and for being patient with us while we ironed things out after taking a year off!
Also, a huge shoutout to Old Town Kayaks, Orion Coolers, YakAttack, Lancer Jigs, RAM, McKay Crab Pots, and Next Adventure for sponsoring the event.
Finally, massive props to those who made it on the scoreboard this year. The conditions were challenging in almost every possible way, yet many of you still got out there and got the fish to bite. It was inspiring to see you all put in the work!
Planning for ORC 2022 starts next week; we're looking forward to a better planned event with more sponsors next year. See you all then!

Well OK, I attended the 2021 ORC Event which was my first NWK gathering. Met some nice folks but was also very much absorbing everything. The number 1 thing I learned was I have a lot of learning to do. The Folks of Next Adventure were an awesome group and very good people.
To make this somewhat to the point. I DQ’d myself for not having a Dry Top, although one of the gentleman from Next Adventure offered to lend me his as he was not fishing, I declined that offer and that’s on me. I have sense fixed this issue and have ordered a dry Top from Next Adventure.  I was also a slacker about finding “ Nobaddays or Tinker” to find out what flies to use.
I will be back next year for this event but in the meanwhile I will keep learning and see you all “at Coos Bay” or is it “In Coos Bay”

 Congrats to all the Winners

Had a great time fishing before the tournament from the wave runner and a better time on the kayak for the tournament.  Had a fun time fishing and meeting everyone.  Thank you Orion coolers and Next Adventure or the awesome prizes.  I was able to fill the new cooler with fish from this weekend.

Cant wait till the next one!

Awesome job Zach.  It was tough conditions, but you still managed great fish.  Congrats on a big win.
Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.
