This is what the other guys sent me about the fix. He has been using it for about a year and a half.
I made sure the peddle shaft were strait and counted the number of links on each side to make sure it is center. The center teeth of the sprocket was missing on mine. I drill a small hole in the center and used a 3/4 inch stainless steel screw. I added some adhesive to the screw before I screwed it in. To be extra sure it stayed in.

Looks like they had some of the grips left on their sprockets. Mine had been completely stripped and the whole assembly was sagging so that was my main concern.
I ended up finding a certified dealer with the part in stock (Outdoor Emporium in Seattle) and shipped it up there for repair. Now I need to fix my Garmin that says it’s short circuiting…never a dull moment with the kayak.

Looks like you can get em on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DYDFLGH2?lv=shuf&channelId=500&plpRedirect=mhFallback&th=1&psc=1

I just installed these on my 180 drive and it worked perfectly. The manufacturer has a really good how to video and there's a detailed thread on on NCKA. The process wasn't too bad. I did have to partly disassemble it after checking the forward and reverse because the fins were pointing in opposite directions. Not a big deal I just flipped over the disc. If I do it again I would mark the cord with a marker to be sure I put it together right. They also sent the wrong bolts for the cover so I just picked up some from the hardware store. I'm very happy with these and I'm sure they will never wear out.
