There will an 8:45 high tide at "Shipwreck" this Sunday morning. Soft tide to follow.
Maybe a "holy" day will have more success or luck.

 Another open invite  ::) ::) ::)

Please don't ask for an address or GPS this time...

Just show up and let's catch some fish.......

 I am Mark

Pictures are from last Saturday's attempt.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Is that your santa cruz raptor?  Is that as sweet of a kayak as it seems?

Will you catch more fish on a day when you're in focus?   >:D :P

Yeah--- that's Upnorthtex's raptor with a little electric motor in back. Sweet ride. He runs a 29 Amp battery and gets along just fine. I had a hard time keeping up with him in my Outback when he put the coal to it. He said it works great busting through the surf down in Texas.

RoxnDox--- I'm always focused..... but I do have a shitty camera. I'll upgrade one of these days. I have a GOPro Hero 3 but never use it. Anybody want to make an offer for a GoPro ???

Nice to see another Raptor. I sold my SOT to help finance my Outback, but my wife still has her sit-inside. She doesn't fish, but sure loves the stability. It's a great kayak for building confidence.
Hope you guys really nail the salmon. I'll be boat fishing up there Tuesday, but really hope to catch my first kayak salmon in the weeks ahead.

With the recent announcement about Bouy 10 going to clipped Chinook and clipped coho only starting Monday--- might want to go both days this weekend. Ups the odds considerably for getting a keeper.

Gonna load up the yak tonite..........
See ya on the water tomorrow.....

Be careful out there,  it's a freaking zoo out there.  Could almost hop boat to boat today.

Great to see everyone this weekend!
Saturday for me...one takedown, kinda bummed about the traffic. Seen some great kayak fish though!Saw a whale above the bridge!
Somehow got a pass for Sunday...much better. 2 for 5...all big fish, man what fun.Lost my first fish at 5 minutes,rebait....caught this 18lb nook...didnt even get the rig to the bottom. Tried for awhile for a coho...lost a couple, caught a huge native nook and released.....this guy had 140 ft out on the line counter, thought a seal had it. Hope to see you guys and some coho in the river next weekend!

Great seeing you today, Dean, and nice fish!

I was 1 for 4 today before 730 and tried for a coho for a couple more hours before heading in. Craig, Sinker, and wobbler all did well but had to work hard for a few of them.

FYI...  Looks like B10 is closing for all Chinook until Oct 1.

Coho is still open, along with the ocean and upstream from Tongue Pt.
