Well I finally got some time together and got a prototype of the NWKA safety flag done. It's made of UV Resistant Flagcloth Oxford (like Cordura) and has a 3M reflective edging with velcro on the back so that you can attach it to a spare rod or the safety flag pole of your choice. No doubt, these bugger's are built to last!

The initial lot will be 24 flags and will be priced somewhere between $15-$20 + shipping. Once we get the orders in I can estimate the price better. So if you want one, let's hear it!

Zee,

Please tell me you don't have your mother-in-law slaving in front of the sewing machine.  She's supposed to be there to help you and your wife with the baby! :)

I'll take two.

Turns out my mom isn't interested in doing production work on flags either.
Maybe some one off stuff, but that's about it.

Put me down for 1.

BTW - What are the dimensions?
Might I suggest a grommet or three like a dive flag has?

13" X 10". A little larger than most safety flags out there. Grommets are just going to boost the price up and I want this to be affordable to all. If you'd like them, REI and other stores of the like carry kits for around $9.

That's cool.  I have some grommets and know how to set 'em!

Put me down for one.  How do they attach to the pole?  Is that a sewn channel?

See pic 3. Wrap the velcro around rod tip or pole and you're done.
