I may be in Spokane in late July and am considering a day trip out to Roosevelt Lake.  Any tips or suggestions about launch points, focus areas, and tackle would be welcome.  I’m mainly a trout and salmon guy but happy to target other species if the fishing is good.  It’s a massive body of water and am not sure where to start.  If there’s a better fishery west of Spokane to target I’m open to suggestions.  I’m already pretty familiar with things east of Spokane. (Panhandle lakes).
