Just another day of fishing at Rufus. :P ;D

Same length, but not quite so morbidly obese. This one had a fairly complete caudal. A couple of head shakes after the take, then it let me reel it in, until it saw the boat. After that it put on a good show.

Dang!  A big fat Triploid and a glassy day to boot................
Beautiful!!!!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

:-[ :-[ :-[ Uh, no, I haven't given the rod to Janni on either of these last 2 fish. In my defense, on past trips, I may have had the numbers of fish, but she regularly has caught the biggest of the trip. She is merciless about teasing me about it, too! ::)

Maybe next time I'll put the plug that's been doing the damage, on her rod.

Here's a snip from the Washington Lakes reports:
We had to work for them today, but patience and persistence paid off. We were tied up inside the first set of net pens all day. All fish were caught on 1/8th ounce jigs tipped with worms. Color didn't seem to matter. I was trying several other tactics and never switched to jigs, that's why I'm not in the picture. As you can see though, my friends did very well. The fish were 10.5, 10, 9.5, 7, 6.5, and 4.5 pounds. Awesome day!

There was a nice pic of a cooler full of the big trips, but too much hassle to download into the Galleries

Wow, Bill...another fatty??!! Do you even have to clunk those things on the head to kill em, or do they simply die of heart failure after a couple of runs?   ;) ;D
