It came up on another thread several weeks ago, many of us have found kayaking or fishing related deals in the past, but had nowhere to post them or share them. This thread should be a good composite deals thread for killer pricing on things, or even on useful repurposing of existing items for kayaking purposes.
I'll start us off with a deal I found on another forum. This definitely doesn't qualify for "Cheapskate" status, but it's a darn good deal on a Reel I haven't seen go on sale often, and certainly not 50% off.
For that kind of money I would rather buy a Siegler.

Field Supply has a 50% off deal on Under Armour fishing stuff. I personally own their "Chesapeake" Pants and shorts, and several shirts as well generally good quality. YMMV on sizing available and pricing, but there's some pretty decent deals to be had.

If anyone sees a killer clearance price on Lowrance HOOK 5's, post it here. I've been looking for a great deal now that they're about to be discontinued, but haven't seen one yet.
