Hanford Reach Salmon - RIP Dad

(1/4) > >>

smokeyangler:
My Dad passed away last Thursday. He was passionate about hunting and fishing. After a long couple weeks Away from home I arrived back home last night. This morning I decided to go fishing. After about an hour of trolling one of my rods started peeling line off. I grabbed my rod and held on for the sleigh ride. The fish damn near spoiled me and I thought I was done and all of a sudden my reel falls completely off my rod into the kayak. I knew I was screwed. I put the reel back on the rod, start reeling and the fish is still on. I got it in and netted it. I don't know how I didn't lose the fish. This fish is for my Dad!

smokeyangler:
Another one.

Sorry about your dad.  Nice story.

Ling Banger:
Good one!

minnowmagnet:
Right on! That is a huge salmon.
Really sorry to hear about your dad. Sounds like he was a cool guy and passed on his love of fishing.
