Does anybody know of a good place to buy fresh or high quality cured salmon eggs in Hood River/The Dalles area?

Gilmore's Fish House in Dallesport can be a good source of fresh, as are natives selling salmon in many gorge locations like Cellilo and Kohlberg's beach.

I'd advise thinking twice about buying eggs from net caught fish from the natives. They come from un-bled fish and the skeins are often full of blood. Plus they most likely have not been iced. Unbled, warm, day old eggs soaking in a bread sack full of slime and blood don't make good bait. Garbage in Garbage out.
If I was in your location/position I'd order them online from folks like the Amermans or Sunrise baits
