It looks like I have the opportunity to hit Seaside in late April this year?

Is there good fishing that time of year and would anybody be interested in hooking up?

There is always a possible Ocean window around that time. I believe there is some bottom fishing at the south end of the beach at Seaside  but you could also head down to Pacific City. I'd be up for meeting up if there is a good surf forecast and it's the weekend. If could always hit the PDX area for some springer action on your way back.

I"ll be carpooling for another event (other people r going, I'm not) so stopping on the way will not be an option.  I"m not sure how far I'll be traveling from seaside once there

If I go, I'll be taking my Yak.  Also, I may be in the PDX area the first weekend of April.  I may be doing so Sturgeon fishing.

I will also be around. Steve H from La Grande also comes into town a lot. You might try to carpool with him. We are waiting for a good salt forecast in the near future.
