Hello all,
New member here, based out of the mid-valley but I'm willing to go just about anywhere to fish.
Got the yak bug bad.
I have a pair of boats, a slippery fiberglass black 13 footer SIK someone made in a community college class in AK, or so I was told.
Fun boat to paddle around in, I've duck hunted from it with reasonable success.  Not much for fishing from though.
I am also the owner of a new Hobie Outback.  Picked it up last week at Next Adventure and have spent the last week rigging and testing.
I'm comfortable on, in, and under the water, been a certified diver since 1975.
I work Friday to Monday and have Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays off if anyone has a desire to fish midweek drop me an email.

Welcome aboard MonkeyFist. I stopped by NA to pick up my PA last week and saw a happy guy buying an Outback. It wasn't you was it? Either way, enjoy the ride!
Cheers!

Welcome to the site! My inlaws live in Corvallis and I try to drag my boat out there every so often. Depoe is a short drive :) Check out the ORC thread in the events section. It's a great way to meet the NWKA family and get salty!

Jammer,
Yes that was me.
So much to learn now.
I may be ready by July for the ORC.  Maybe...

Welcome to NWKA and nice purchase. Fish from your kayak a couple of times while it's bare bones, then you'll get a better idea of where you'll want to locate your myriad of add-ons and rigging later.
