How do you keep your tackle box so clean??

It looks like a "Glamour Shot" for a tackle box.

Yeah I'm a bit OCD with my tackle. If I can't fish and need a break I head to the shop and tinker on a project or organize my gear. Makes it easier for me when I'm out on the water.
Also, it earns me a ton of crap from Craig and Nate on why my year old Hobie has no scratches on it. :P

Haha, my Outback and tackle boxes would give you nightmares. I've had this kayak for less than two months and it's already looking pretty worn in. There's so many scratches and fish blood that it look like I've been using it for years.

There are some awesome cleaners out there that treat Hobies well :)

BenSkold, thanks for your first post. There is a ton of good info in there.

W&E, I've wanted to try the Yozuri's for a while. Any particular pattern you like?

I can't stand an unorganized tackle box either.  I want to know exactly were everything is.  It also helps me when I need to buy replacement gear.

You've inspired me RR; I want a tricked out tackle too.  I use to try and keep it all together, but got lazy and it all went to hell.

The floating Rapala minnow/jointed minnow has worked really well for me.

Which yo-zuris do you use W&E?
the Chrystal Minnow shallow diver on one side and the deep diver on the other.  All of my AOTY trout have come from the same shallow diver.

That's a sweet assortment of lures to carry! I have been using Lindy Rig walleye gear for trout and it works really well at Ochoco Reservior.  I was out last week during a nice day and caught 8 trout between 11-13 inches.  The blades spin even at the slowest troll.  I don't use the single "worm harness'" hook they come with, I replace it with a size 14 treble for better hook-ups.  I bought the kit at at Sportsman's and it comes with a nice assortment of blade colors to chose from, beads, corkiew, sinkers, and a worm blower! I have not tried them for kokes (yet).

Got the exact same sling blades you do RR,caught a tiger muskie on the green one last year.Like to add a mylar smile spinner to the hootchies(they spin at very low trolling speeds). And I always bring a multi blade flasher set-up to Merwin because thats what the ol' boys are using and sometimes they're the ones catchin'  :D

I really like the Shasta's. I watched a video with Gary Morallis (owner of Shasta) and be puts a pretty big bend in his blades when he fished to get more swing out of them. I like a slight bend because I can troll them a bit slower. 1.3-2.0 mph can get a but tiring after a few hours out there. With the bend I can do 1.0-1.3 mph and still get good action.
