Well ... my BAD MOJO continues on the salmon.  Launched out of Madison Park this morning, because it's close to where I live and because I needed to be back in the office for meeting early this morning (sitting in the meeting right now in fact!).  A pretty stiff south wind was blowing forcing me to head north of 520.  Joined a fleet of boats over there and saw maybe 8-10 sockeyes landed in the morning, kinda slow IMO.  I did manage to hook one only to have it spit the hooks just out of net range.   >:(  I was periodically marking small pods of sockeye at 60-70 feet.  I didn't mark any larger schools.  I did hear the bite was fast and furious in the south part of the lake.  I'm thinking about heading there tomorrow, not sure exactly where yet, probably from Seward Park or Atlantic City Park.

I did meet Jim and Trinidad in a double sit inside kayak.  They were at Madison Park when I was launching but decided to launch from the arboretum when they saw the wind/water.  I passed them on the water a little before 8 and they had 1 in the boat.  Hope to see you guys here!

Thanks for the report Allen!

BtW-If you're looking for a decent fly reel I'd check out either the SA System 2 or the Ross Cimarron.
