Washington regs are out

They screwed us on the Skagit for socks, and brought the limit down to two in Baker (I am not as mad about the limit as I am the Skagit)

On a positive note cast nets are now allowed for sardines/anchovies MA 1-4 and they bumped up the limit for said species to 25 pounds.

They don't seem to be particularly popular fisheries however anchovies in particular are excellent eating IMO (and good bait). One could catch a season's worth of anchovies for bait very easily, especially with a cast net, at Westport during the summer.
