Hello,

Live in Enumclaw and started fishing in the PNW last autumn. Pretty much in a kayak from the second time out (saw another guy cruising the lake in his yak while I was standing in the mud and sticker bushes on the bank and went right home and found a boat of my own on Craigslist.) Used a WS Pungo 120 for this first year, a great SINK for fishing, and had a lot of fun. So far have been trolling for kokanee and trout in south King County lakes, and started trying for largemouth bass as well. Last week my SOT arrived from Austin Kayak, the new FeelFree Moken 12.5. I love this boat! Time in the Pungo really made me appreciate the convenience of the Moken's layout, but I do miss the speed of my sit-in. Looking forward to getting out to Puget Sound for saltwater fishing probably next season.  Happy to be on this site, a great reference for people just learning like me.
