Why are Push Notifications disabled for tapatalk?

I'd like to receive notifications when someone replies to a post. I tried to make the setting but tapatalk says forum admin has disabled the function.

I tried a search to find the reason but couldn't.

I dunno. That's the way it was set up by default.  I just enabled it.  Try now.

Well I appreciate the effort. Still not working though. Maybe I'll contact tapatalk
