Any thoughts on this Slayer

I know native boats aren't as big around here but I just read this about the native slayer getting a propel pedal drive any thoughts?

Interesting.  The Native that I test peddaled out at Lake Sammamish a couple months ago underwhelmed.  Speed was meh at best, and the rudder was teh suk (extremely non-linear response). 

It's only 100 lbs.

The one at the festival was the Mariner Propoel.  A slug at best.  The Slayer is a little better.  Would love to do a side-by-side comparison against an outback.

I always thought the propeller looked a little tiny

But the propel has reverse, making it a superior drive system for smaller waters.

I had a chance to try one of thees last month.  Its not very speedy and too heavy.   does have some nice features though.  I expected more than it delivered.
