Links are on the bottom of the page.  Old site, naive, newbie, hand-coded, goofy, but it has my T13 and Revo13 rigging exploits.

The Revo's SLA battery was replaced with a blue brick Li-Ion.  I have since abandoned the cigarette style power adapter.

I started with the bar mount for my FF/GPS and rod holder.  Just recently I removed the bar and installed GT90 GearTracs.

Some of it works for either the T13 or the Revo13 like the anchor trolley and the Scotty bailing pump rigging.  The primer for kayak crabbing is still a work in progress and applies to either boat.

My hull warp problem was solved as described, but recently I removed the tire tube and replaced it with a 2" wide closed cell foam transverse bulkhead just forward of the rear hatch.  The area between the live well scuppers and the rear hatch could actually use 2 such bulkheads.

Thanks for all the feedback and links. I took the yaks on there maiden voyage today at Hagg. My son and I had a blast. I was wondering if I should be concerned if there is water in the front hatch. In a 2 hour period there was just enough water to drench a towel and a shirt. Sorry if I'm being an overly panicked new owner.

Hey, hey, hey ... don't diss that old site of yours!  It's my go-to source as I've been slowly rigging my own Revo13.  I always learn something, and find it immensely helpful.  One of my first thoughts is always, "Let's see if Demonick has something on that..."

Demonfish: I wouldn't worry about that amount of water in the front hatch -- first of all, it's not the tightest seal. Secondly, that doesn't sound like much water -- maybe a sponge's worth.  Glad you had fun out there on the maiden voyage.

Thank you. I am humbled and blushing.

I assume this was the Oasis?  The water could have come from anywhere and flowed to the front hatch.  I doubt that on Hagg you took any water over the bow.  Like blood, a little water seems like a lot.

There are two crotch hatches and that would be my guess as to how the water got in there.  Did you open those hatches?  When these hatches are opened the water that pools in the handle recess drips down into the kayak as does any water on the surface of the hatch.  I tend to open mine quickly to throw the water forward.

How much water went over the top of those hatches?  It is not a bad idea to smear the tiniest amount of silicone grease, the food grade stuff, over the seals.  But I really mean only enough to give the o-ring seal a sheen.  Also do the same to the outer ring of the hatch - the surface against which the hatch seals.  You want to use as little as possible so sand and such does not stick to it.

You may want to consider a mirage drive water seal:
http://www.austinkayak.com/products/885/Hobie-Mirage-Drive-Seal.html

It seals the back of the drive well and actually does greatly reduce the amount of water coming out of the drive well.  The old version screwed down.  It looks like the latest version uses tie-wraps!  Lame!  Shame on Hobie.

The hatch in question was on an outback. We did take on some water over the bow in the afternoon as the wind and boat wakes really got things kicked up. The amount of water soaked a beach towel and a dryfit type shirt to the point when I picked it up it was running like a river. I did however get home and take a better look at the seals and I might have found my issue. It appears there was a lot of small plastic pieces left on the seals when Hobie routed stuff out on the yak. I cleaned them up a bit and the wife and I are going out again so we will see how it goes tonight.

Drain plug at the rear? On my maiden voyage, I took in water through the drain that I didn't check before launching. About as much as you described.
