I'm going to be launching out of George Rogers early tomorrow morning to look for some bass, probably 5:30-6am.  Welcome to anyone who'd like to meet up to fish.  This will be my 1st time exploring that section of the river.  Sorry for short notice, but just found out that I have the morning off.  Will be seeing if I can dredge up a big smallie. Hope to see another NWKA or two on the water.

Fished from about 6-11:30a both up and downstream from GR exploring that section of river.  Surface temp was 64-65deg. No fast action, but did land 6 smallies.  Five were on crankbaits, and 1 on a tube.  The largest was 14.5" on a custom colored Strike King 5XD, so obviously didn't find where the big girls were hiding, or didn't convince them to bite.

Sounds like a fine day!  I have that very crank; good to see it producing.
