Dudes trip south 06/16/13

Been a while , finally got around to editing the video. Not sure why it is so low quality, thought for sure i recorded it in 720p.  Got one eye on the camera and one eye on the rocks we were getting sucked toward in the second clip so not the steadiest footage.

Took dude down south a little to some more unprotected water, She handled it like a champ even though feeling a bit green...I told her we would leave after she caught a lingcod. Well, she caught the first one and just kept right on fishing. The first one ended up being 25.5 inches and an AOTY upgrade for her.  Good thing it was gill hooked and bleeding out, i wanted to toss it back without measuring it, did't think it was an upgrade, would have cost her some points...

Got a drop of water in the mic on the second clip and the sound was horrible so i put it to some blues, How she felt emotionally and physically after that one. That would have been a nice fish! We went home after that.

Awesome day on the water!! and for the life of me i can't remember if i caught any, or what they may have been if i did catch any fish. 

It sucks when you lose those big fish! I saw someone paddling in the distance. Was that one of our guys?
