Howdy, I'm Greg from Onalaska. I've been fishing fresh/salt water for most of my life since age 3(short tempered dad launched my 1st pole into Lake Shasta due to a reel rats nest).  1st deep sea trip was Half Moon Bay.  Learned to SCUBA at 12 since my parents owned South Valley SCUBA School in San Jose CA.  I have dove/free dived from So Cal to North WA.  Spearfished Catalina/Channel Islands (big Sheapshead).  Moved to Hood River in 1980.  Sturgeon is one of my favorites, been bank fishing them since I was 15, my personal best using squid is 10'-2" from mile post 59 on I84.  Kayak/canoe fishing fresh water is not new to me, but I just bought the new model Malibu Stealth 2013, they moved the rear hatch to a more useful position, and want to expand my options. I googled Puget Sound fishing clubs and found this website.  Reading the forums and the AOTY peeked my interest and I look forward to improving as an angler.

Welcome, and sweet boat! I just googled it. What color option did you select?

  Wecome Greg,
You've come to the right place.........lots of expirence on this site, lots of genuine sharing, and a little bit of gentle ribbing with this group.
Look forward to your input......... ;D
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent
