So I'm joining the NWKA community to learn from your experience and to tap into your knowledge.

I'm torn between "Gee! I surely do want to tour the rivers" and "A kayak is exactly what I need to get to the fishy spots".

Happy to be here and looking forward to reading everything you write.

Sometimes a kayak is just what you need to get those "fishy spots", but sometimes it just gets you stuck in some back water swamp getting bit by mosquitoes and not much else.

Best thing to do is get into a kayak start exploring. Remember none of us have it all figured out. I'll be the first to admit that I don't know nothing 'bout nuttin'. That's exactly what makes all this kayak fishing stuff so interesting.

Jump in Amigo, the pool is deep.

Bear Grylls, huh?  Fine by me!  Mosquitoes tend to ingore me - something too rich in my fine Irish blood, I reckon.

After pondering my intro, I'm going to publicly admit that I'm full of it when I talk about kayak touring.  You can't put me near water for more than a minute before I start searching for my fishing gear.

Thank you all for welcoming me.  I'm glad I'm here.
