Just dropping to say Hi. My name is Beav, and have been kayak fishing for 2 years. Moved back the great northwest in 2011 from hawaii where I did some yak fishing from time to time. Rockin 2 Ocean Kayak Prowler 13's. Love the lakes and ocean inlets. Looking forward to the meeting a few of you and head out on the water.

Yes, it has. I was born and raised in the area, but been traveling the world for the last decade or so. Moving back to the area has made my head spin.

I am in Tacoma and have hit up Lake Kapowsin a few times. Cool lake with lots of stuff to look at and great bass/trout fishing. If you haven't been out on that, give it a try!

Welcome Beav!  Im in Lakewood..  We should get a south sound group meet-up.  Maybe we could do a HOW inventory/planning meeting, as we just got some new stuff.  Im sure Dino might be interested in a little help with organizing some of the stuff too!!

Thanks all for the warm welcome! I took the yak out last summer on kapowasin and caught a perch with my son on the back. Used the catch some great smallmouth in the back were the snail farm is, but alot of things have changed.
