I have a spare 6 hours or so to fish Bowman Bay in a couple weeks. What should I target while I'm there? Salmon is closed in that area. Are there perch or cabezon on the reefs there? I thought about paddling out and working the deeper water for pollocks, cod, and hake but worried about the currents which are forecast to pretty gnarly that day.

I know there's greenling.  Thought cabezon was closed, but maybe that's just lings.  No idea about the deep water fish.  What day are you planning on?

Don't waste your time fishing for cod. Cabezon or greenling is what I would go for.
