Hello from California

I'm a member of Central Coast Kayak Fishing and Northern California Kayak Anglers.  I've been lurking around here for a little while and have enjoyed reading your tips and posts regarding your Northern waters.  Heading out tomorrow for virgin attempt for Salmon out of Port San Luis in Avila Beach.  I will post a report with news on how it goes.  Until then, happy to be aboard.

Welcome to NWKA.   Good luck fishing for salmon tomorrow.  I grew up in Lompoc and my brother lives in Los Osos.  I've been lurking on CCKA for quite awhile now checking were you guys are fishing down there.  Last trip down I brought both my kayak and took my brother out at Montana de Oro and we caught a lot of rock fish out there.

I live in Los Osos too, Spooners cove in Montana de Oro is one of my favorite spots for the rf.  If you make it this way again give me a shout.  It'd be fun to hook up otw.
