Hey folks, Aaron here from NorCal (pisciform on NCKA).
Fairly new to yakfishing - I've had a yak a few months now but haven't been able to get out much.

Anyway, I'm in town thru Tuesday & hoping to get a little fishing in; wondered if anyone had any suggestions. I'm thinking probably Monday or Tue.

I'm yakless up here & was thinking about doing a non-yak guide thing. All I have with me is a 9 wt fly rod & waders but I'm open to most anything...as far as fishing, that is.

So, basically my question is this: is there a hot bite right now; or if I were to spend money on a guide, where would be the wise bet?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

...oh btw, I noticed Art (agarcia) introduced himself here - be sure to check out his camo wetsuit & bikini pics...

I'll have to head out about 4:30 Tue afternoon.
