PC 7-17-2013

Had a great trip at Pacific City. Fish were hungry, whales were everywhere, and the weather was good. Caught 8 nice crab but lost half of them in the surf on the way in. Was going to try trolling for salmon but I forgot the bait in the cooler and I didn't want to risk the surf more than I had to. Can't wait to get back out there!

That's how you do it fellas nice. Good to hear crabs are moving back into the neighborhood. How long was the soak?

5 hour soak in 40ish feet.

That looks like tons of fun! I have a brother coming from Utah next weekend and I'm hoping the forcast works out for us to spend some time in PC.

Great day guys! That is such a fun place to fish. Too bad about the salmon bait - a trifecta on crabs, bottom fish and salmon would have been so sweet.
