Hello All,

Wannabe kayak fisher lurker:)!

Love the water, love fishing and crabbing, like the idea of activity based exercise on the water.

No storage space, not a good swimmer, never kayaked, looking for a ultra-safe craft for two smaller people. Kids all grown up, old fogies need a past-time!

Decided to take the plunge and actively look for a used Wavewalk W500 kayak. Back takes a beating on a daily basis so like the idea of sitting astride. Any suggestions on websites to post wanted ads would be appreciated, either northwest or east around Boston area.

Summer is a great time to look into swimming lessons at the community pool. You never know when you might find yourself separated from your kayak.

I've never seen one of those models advertised but a post on Craigslist costs nothing. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the welcome and suggestion.

I am thinking of Boston, MA, USA. Know a person who may pick-up and freight the kayak to Vancouver, BC.

In terms of swimming, we can swim but not well at this time. Out of shape but working on it. The kayak will be an enjoyable exercise activity.
