Wondering what folks think about this new extend-able bumper board from Plano.

.....

The downside I can see is that it might be flimsy when extended out.

Plano model 1936 Bump Board

I see this was discussed briefly in the AOTY a while back, but I just discovered it while wasting time and money at a Bass Pro Shop this weekend.

Although y'all will still find some fish to exceed it, this doo-hicky is slicker than snot! At 21" long, its easier to stow than almost any other measurer.  Fully extended, it'll measure 36 1/4" and that's a bit more than pretty much anybody's beam. That means you can lay it across your legs from gunwale to gunwale and have a place to hold the fish for the glamor shot!

It is a tad on the light weight side, so you probably don't want to stand on it, but its waaay stiffer than my current tournament measurer that's made of a vertical blind slat. (But it won't unlock a door). It even has a bit of foam in the end to help it float when it goes over the side.

Top it all off with ITS CHEAP. ~$10

I got one of these from bass pro a while back.  Overall it s a good measuring board.  When fully extended it tends to bow a bit in the middle when measuring a fish, laying in my footwell has eliminated this issue.  Other than that the only issue I have is that it is missing a NWKA logo.

I think you can also get one at wholesale sports or they're pretty cheap on amazon. They work well.
