Found a place where confirmed sturgeon fishing is possible without going to the Columbia River.  Check out the posts on this link:

Am not sure about the season on these fish but it looks like it would be worth a check.

Yup.  We got the Snoho and Stilly on our radar and plan on unlocking them for kayak anglers this year.    >:D

The two sloughs mentioned- Ebby and Steamboat are not that big- especially compared to the Columbia River.  This is good news for AOTY anglers up near Seattle--don't have to give up on the sturgeon species or make a 3-4 hour trip just for the chance to catch one.   >:D >:D
