I'm going to be in Lincoln City the rest of the week with my family.  Looking to hit the Siletz Bay/River on Thursday for some crabbing and possibly troll for salmon.  Planning to take my son out of Depoe Bay on Friday for his first trip into the salt.

If anybody is interested and in the area, would love the company!  Looking like a mid-morning to early afternoon incoming tide on Thursday, and good conditions for Friday morning.

Thanks,
Sam

Thanks - looking forward to it...

I know this is your area - any suggestions on crabbing in the bay.  I think you've recommended heading outside the bay before, but I'm not really up for attempting the surf launch/land, especially with crab gear.  Was planning on using the park/bay front there in Taft, then dropping a couple pots basically in the channel (per the ODFW crab map).

Also, have you seen/heard anything with regards to early fall chinook in the bay or very low river?
