Alright, I've had this Lowrance Elite-4x for some time, and had it tuned just fine for Lake Michigan fishing: clear, fresh-water, most depths fished from 20-80ft, with essentially zero structure and very, very gradual depth changes (a giant, slowly receding glacier will do that).

BUT, I'm having some issues tuning it correctly for Puget Sound.

Easy, simple question for Lowrance Elite users: What "fishing mode" do you set your device to? Deep, fresh, clear, brackish, etc....

Less easy, simple question: If somebody's bored/helpful enough to run through a suggested list of alterations starting from "default mode," let 'er rip.
