Howdy!

I am a total noob to fishing and Kayaking both. I have done both growing up, but never was serious about either. But I have been bitten by the bug and there is no stopping me now!

I grew up in Pacific City as a surfer.  Every once in a while I would hitch a trip out on a dory boat and always really enjoyed bottom fishing. A couple times I did a little bank fishing for salmon, but could never get into the shoulder to shoulder crap that goes on down there.

Now I live in Lincoln city as a slightly over weight electrician.  And just recently I got myself a second hand salmon rod and reel, and have been doing a little bank fishing just to learn how to do it.  But I cannot wait to get myself a kayak and really start fishing.

I have been lurking around as a guest for quite a while reading anything and everything I can, and have decided to try to find a second hand trident 13.  My poor craigslist app on my phone is getting abused with my constant searches.  Like most everyone funds are limited or I would just buy a new one. I am actually hoping to trade for one in the near future. I just need to decide which of my other toys I want to offer up lol.

Hopefully I will be able to contribute to the forums even a fraction of what I have already learned.
