I'm trying to figure the best way to rig my Sit inside kayak tandem.  I can bungee a crate on the front end but don't have much space to mount anything in the middle which is where I usually sit.  This Johnny bar looks like it might work.  Anyone have one of these?  To they provide a sturdy enough platform?  Here are some links to some possibilities.

Here is a pic of my type of kayak, I will try to take a real pic sometime as its hard to see, but look between the rear and front cockpit and you can see there isn't much room.  I like to wear the skirts so I can't just mount a board that will cover the cockpit area

Here are some products I found that might work there

This one looks easy to make if one had an oz of skill, unfortunately I don't

Any ideas?

I've heard decent things about the Johnny Bar.  The Rhyno bar looks like you might have clearance issues fitting it on you curved deck.  I've never heard about the Lilypad.  There is also the Scotty Triple Mount you might check out.
