Eddyline carribean 14

Greetings:

Friend and I have been field testing SOT kayaks for 2 years now and have decided on Eddyline Carribean 14.  Before purchasing we'd like to see one outfitted by an actual owner and get some advice and experiencial feedback.  Is anyone willing to help?

Not sure anyone here has one. I demo'd one in Charleston SC  a couple years ago and actually enjoyed it. Good choice BTW.

As an alternative to this site, you could also ask the members of our sister site WWW.norcalkayakanglers.com. I think there are  one or two  there in fishing use.

I didn't own this one, but I took kayaking classes on Eddyline Carribean 12, which, as I guess, is pretty much the same kayak as 14' version, and I didn't like it. I'm 6'2", 220 pounds and I had serious troubles getting back into the yak, during self-rescue training. I didn't have the same problems (in fact I didn't have any problems) with Wilderness Systems Ride 135 and I don't have any problems with Hobie Outback.

So, I'd advice you to try self-rescue on Eddyline Carribean before you pull trigger on it.

 I think noskirt has a 12 and a 14. Might shoot her a msg.
